Brake Pedal Switch Failures
New brake switch, part number 1J0 945 511 F
New switch fitted
Following several known failures of the ‘black’ switch VAG issued a revised ‘purple’ part, this has now been superceded again with new part which is green. Failure is normally indicated by the dashboard glow plug light illuminating and possible brake light failure as well as a stored fault code on the OBD System.
The replacement Part Number is 1J0 945 511 F.
